My Accord had its 90k done at the dealer, a costly $1493.67 worth of service.
That included the Water pump, all engine seals, t-belt, valve adjustent, new spark plugs and wires etc.
Here's my issue - I just realized that the 2 leaking o-rings on my car are parts that the Honda Dealer ~supposedly~ replaced last year in December when I had the service done. Now after looking at my papers from that service, the work is warranteed for 12mo/12,000miles. I just happen to be almost at 14k miles since the service. What can I do? I talked to the service advisor at honda and she said I have to pay for them to look over everything, and if they find its the O-rings then they'll decide weather or not to replace them under goodwill as my warranty on the work is about 2000 miles out the window.
Cylinder 2 and 3 Sparkplug tubes are flooded in oil, the car thanfully starts/runs fine though. If my meahcnic does it, he told me they only repalce all 4 seals at a time, and that the work is going to be about 300 with labor.
I'm ticked that 1500 service wasn't done properly, and then it fails 2k after the warranty is over.
