honda doesnt do "orders" in the traditional sense of the word. you cant custom order a white accord LX with navi and black interior, for example.
im pretty sure this is how it works.... the factory cranks out whatever they crank out on a preset schedule. dealers can request a change in their allocation to get the car you want, but honda doesnt custom make that car for you. what happens is if their request is approved then your dealer will get "your" car once it is built (according to their regular build schedule, not custom built for you). then the dealer that was originally supposed to get that car will get a different trim/color.
so if the exact trim/color you want was already planned to be built, the dealer can request to get that specific car. if not then you cant custom order it.
