Diesel used to be much cheaper here, 60% the price of petrol as it is cheaper to refine I believe, but now eveyone is buying diesel cars lots more tax has been added so that it's slightly more expensive than petrol now, hardly eco friendly is it? dunno.gif Same ole story, money talks loudest.. frown.gif

But as size-for-size diesels engines get more than double the mpg, owning one is still a huge saving. biggrin.gifyes.gif (petrol is about $7 US a gallon here)..
