Just to update you on the topic that initiated this discussion. I wrote e-mail to dealership asking them what is involved in the diagnostic, what are possible problems and what results will show them what is the exact problem. So 2 hours later they called me and told me that they don't do any diagnostics on radio for this kind of the problem and this was just generaly made up (this is my comment). He told me that they ordered new radio and they would call me when it comes. They will replace it for free.
So you may make conclusion you want. I still think that Honda CS didn't handle this problem as one respected company should. I still think that Honda's dealership tried to cheat on me. But on the end they came to their sense. The main reason was that I was spending big bucks in their dealership just for regular maintenance and they felt they could loose a customer.
