Sylvania SilverStars burn out quite a lot and they actually cost a pretty penny but I don't see all that many people complain about them. It normally goes: "great bulbs, short life, might give them another try" or "will go with something else next time" but never "what a POS, I am going to sue them..."By the way, products that are defective across the board don't have failure rates as low as we have seen on this forum. What I don't get is why you argue that $300 is reasonable then go say "why should the customer be liable for anything"? It doesn't make any sense. Ever had a head gasket replacement on a Honda before? $1000+ yeah? For a gasket and fluids? It's all the labor right? Well, someone had to put all the crap in the headunit together...
