Wow. I am impressed with these numbers. I have a new 07 V6 Accord. 885 miles on it. I am lucky to get 15mpg. Very disappointed as my Toyota Highlander got 17.5 avereage, my BMW 325i (i drove it VERY hard) got 21.5 mpg avg.
I keep reading stuff that this is common for a new Accord? You gotta be st*TTin me. I have never had a car with such poor gas milage, and that all of a sudden it will just magically "change" in to a 25+ mpg car.
I live in Ohio. Yes, it has been cold and damp. I warm her up in the morning and I do not drive this car that hard. In fact with the horrible gas milage I am getting, I am driving slower than my wife! And she is one of those drivers who has people honking at her and shaking their fists at her as they pass her by.
So, what is wrong with this picture? Oh yeah. My 07 Honda Pilot runs circles around this car in the gas mileage department. Verdict prior to 1,000 miles. Worst car re: gas mileage that I have ever owned. A real let down.
