Justin - I share your aversion to buying brand-new. In late December I paid $22,700 cash at my local dealer for my 06 EX-L V6 with 14,280 miles (plus title/tax). It was a Honda Certified car, meaning it came with the 7 yr/100K mile powertrain and 4 yr/48K B2B warranty. It also came with the rear wingie, sunroof visor, mud guards, but not Navi. They were asking $24,995, and I spent about 4 hours cumulative over multiple days negotiating the deal. So I think I got a good deal, but wouldnt say I set a record or anything. But it was the right color (sapphire blue pearl, unavailable in 07 except on the 6-speed EX-L), was in PERFECT condition, the dealer has been GREAT to us regarding my wife's '06 Ody, and I am still VERY happy almost 2 months and 2000 miles later. I plan to drive it until my daughter can drive it (9+ years from now), so I am not concerned about whether I left a few hundred bucks on the table.FWIW, thats also how I purchased my 1st Honda a 1st-Gen 1980 Accord sedan I bought in January 1981 with 15K miles on the clock, for about $8K, when brand-new ones were going for $9500 to $10k. Yeah the prices were low compared to today, but so was the horsepower (my 1st-gens 1751cc CVCC 4-cyl made all of 68 hp).
