On Saturday I purchased an '07 EX V6 with Nav for $25064 OTD. Problem is I had to travel *3300 total miles* to get the car...Billings, MT to Shreveport, LA and back...
Now, before you guys lump me into the total nutcase category, a few facts:
*the car was a full $3100 cheaper than the lowest price any dealers would do here in Montana. One of the negatives of living in this beautiful wide open state.
*I made $1700 hauling various items for other people on the way there and back -- another car to Iowa, eBay-purchased military tent, 2 eBay-purchased Modine shop heaters, and a cat and dog from Shreveport to Colorado. This worked out real well as opposed to dragging an empty trailer behind my F-250 Crew Cab Powerstroke all the way to Louisiana.
Total expenses for the trip was $665 in diesel and $110 in motels...so I figure I'm about plus $4000 on this deal.
