I'm really suprised that ya'll thought the Malibu (06) was that bad. Maybe you had a 4cyl. My freinds mom has a V6 one, and I have to say, it pulls, but that's that American pushrod tourqe.
All the interior pieces were very nice too, I'd say the build quality was on par with a 96-01 Civic. And that's not bad at all. Her's has 32k already and it hansn't been to the dealer for anything, so that's a good sign. The car rides stiffer than the Accord to me, but I tend to like that stiff feel, I only had the opportunity to drive it on residential roads, but I've ridden in this car for multiple hours, and I wasn't sick afterwards.
The worst car my parents have ever rented would have to be a Chevrolet Tracker 4dr. Yuck!
