what do you propse the period after the warranty is for? there is a cutoff for everything. i'm not sure what you are really trying to argue here??it seems rather pointless.there won't be a recall on a radio for crying out loud.IF anyone wants to replace it free or reduced cost, well, that's GREAT. that's superb. that's outstanding.but what is "wrong" with not offering that upfront?yes, $95 for diagnosis is absurd. The dealership quoted him that. if you nevewr noticed different dealerships charge different amoutns for EVERYTHING from oil changes to rebuilding an engine. to an extent pricing may be determined by honda, BUT i can almost garauntee you that this $95 is NOT determined by honda. i will make sure we ask the dealerhsiup here how much they'd charge for the same diagnostic. heck, feel free to call around and ask some dealerships in your area.this is where he should be complaining about the DEALERSHIP, not honda.
