Try this, put the lid back on the console.
Pull really hard on one side of the lid, it should pop off the slider.

My mom has done this several times to her '03 Accord ex-l, she forgets to pull the levers when going for her handicapped placard for her mirror.

It did no damage and I just popped it back on.

You'd think after 3 years she'd stop doing it.
