The dealer ordered a new front bumper for my car today.You could tell the Service Manager was not thrilled and was trying to see if I would leave the hole in the bumper. His reasoning was the paint won't look like the high tech applied robotic controlled paint that Honda applies at the plant. So he was acting like it was some sort of trade-off in quality. I told him either way the front bracket was installed wrong and should be fixed correctly. I am sure they can match it perfectly. I know for a fact that a good shop can match it perfectly. I did not say anything but it sure does not convince me of the confidence he has in their own shop or if he was just trying to save the costs of this very costly boo boo., more the latter I am sure. The plan is for them to get the bumper paint it and call me to make the swap. They acted very nonchalant about it like it was as simple as changing a light bulb or something. I sure hope so! The thought of them taking apart the nose of my brand new car scares the **** out of me.She got her first real wash today! I had to wait a few days for the tint adhesive to finish bonding.Here are a few more pics for you....
