I am new to the Accord/Honda family. I've wanted one for some time, just got done driving a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta for the last 9 years. My wife and bought a 2006Accord EX that was the only 06 on the lot....we got a pretty good deal, everything I needed...leather, XM...no nav, I can read maps pretty well, and my wife is a good navigator.
So I'm wondering what to expect???? I see some great posts, and some incredibly helpful people here (especially Princess). There's not too much else I want to do to the car, but drive it.
I wouldn't mind installing the fog lights, but not sure I want to tackle the front bumper.
But one thing that I have discovered that I didn't know was common are RATTLES!!!
I've discovered a few, but I want more information on how to get at them myself. I need to know about a few things, tools, techniques.
I've got BUZZES coming from my rear door panels!!!! I know all the screws come out, but what tool can I use (instead of the Honda tool) to get the clips out without damaging the door?
I've also got a rattle from just above the glove box, but I'm pretty concerned about having the SRS air bag blow up in my face!! Anyone taken out their glove box lately?
Anyway, I appreciate the information everyday that I've seen here. Keep it coming.
