Well guys thank you for being patient I finally got them out
I was so concerned with taking the whole assembly out of the trunk I didnt pay attention to the little clasps holding the lens and housing together. It was a real bitch seperating them but they finally gave in, thank you cjolly for the scotch tape idea that really did the trick!
