Yes I did get them out it was easy after I saw them in a lot of light... Not sure you can take the license trim off the 06 however the light is in 2 parts. The clear part you can see from the outside and the grey housing. Don't waste your time trying to take out the whole thing just open your truck and disconnect the harness and then where the grey housing attaches to the clear part squeeze on both sides and pull straight out. If you need to do one side first then the other that worked for me. One side was harder than the other just because of the position I had to get into to get a grip. I will try to get some better pics. I took some but they did not turn out cause I took one in the dark and the other with my phone. Also if you have trouble getting the bulbs out like I did... Take some tape (scotch or electrical) get a piece about 2-3 inches long and attack each end to different sides of the bulb. This gave me a piece to pull on since my fingers were too big to get a grip on the bulb.
