So to reopen this thread, and get some input from Ben and others - is that Motorcraft Synthetic Blend 5W20 really decent stuff? I went to get a couple of filters at WalMart today for the '07 Freestyle (motorcraft ones for under 4 bucks - not bad), and started putting 6 quarts of Castrol syn blend in my cart, and noticed the Motorcraft syn blend in both a 5-quart bottle and 1 quart bottle. What struck me was the cost. Most syn blends are like $3.60-ish per quart. The motorcraft blend was $2.49 per quart, and only $10.50 for a 5 quart bottle. Yikes!!! For that price, if it's decent, I'll start running that in the Hondas as well!!! (my OCI's are about 3000-3500 miles)
