Not to be a debbie downer.But are these horror stories from a certain member on this website who had serious hate for their Civic for numerous reasons? The Civic ranks high in initial and longterm quality research data. The new EX-L is a beautiful, high quality vehicle with leather that feels better than an Accord to me even. There are always going to be that one batch of lemons in the recipie. Look at Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche, GM, Ford - etc. All have vehicles with known numerous issues, only thing is, most won't have anything to do with the cars issues the second it goes out of warranty. Honda does goodwill repairs on cars over 10 years old, when they have been obligation free to that vehicle and that customer for 7years. That's the reason why that customer, is going to buy another Honda. Because he/she got taken care of when it mattered the most.
