Oh but you can! The cost of the amps, crossovers, speakers, wiring, and labor would well exceed the $2000 level in my opinion. Others here have done so but were able to do the labor themselves thereby cutting costs. If you are handy at this stuff ( I am not) then it can be done for much less. Search all of the audio posts and I'm certain you'll come across some component systems.I had a Mazda 626 with an aftermarket sound setup, just four speakers & amp, no sub. It satisfied me completely but the head unit was aftermarket not OEM as it is now. Components and multiple amps are the top dog but for me they are beyond my reach monitarily. For me it's always the damn budget.
