Here is the question now. Why can't you add upgraded speakers in doors (Mid range drivers) and tweeters in dash (components) and upgraded rear deck woofers. All powered by seperate amps and controlled by cross overs and possibly an Equalizer. Now I show my age. I can remember upgrading a car stereo like that long before subwoofers. Is this still a solution?? Trying hard to NOT install a subwoofer.
