Needed to start new thread as a continuation of the POLK STEREO SPEAKERS.
If you upgrade the amp over the factory amp and push more power to the Polk Speakers, will that not increase the bass of the speakers? If so, do you really need the sub woofer?
A young lass I know has upgraded system in here Civic. I sat in the car (she has twin 12 inch subs) she set the bass control on center and turned down her subs to the lowest level using a knob system. The bass was perfect for my taste. Thus, the previous question.
I am at the point of reinstalling the factory speakers and NOT DOING ANYTHING TO THE SYSTEM.
Oh for those who do not know about the specifics of the stock 07 ACCORD PREMIUM SYSTEM, here is what I learned. 1st the speakers are not papercones. 2nd the 6.5 door speakers are mid range drivers. 3rd the rear deck speakers 6 X 9 are sub woofers.
Would appreciate any input on the subwoofer question.
