how sensitive the design

I hope that doesn't happen too. I suppose it really depends on how sensitive you are to that sort of thing. Some people seem to have no reaction to rattles, while others, like me, hear every single one. A lot of 7th gen owners have had no issues with rattles, but a lot of them have had pretty significant issues with rattles. Given that a couple people have reported pretty silly rattles on their 8th gens, I guess I don't have too much hope for improvement. Taking apart my interior and seeing how Honda put the 7th gen's interior together was really a shock and it is easy to see how sensitive the design is to differences in assembly between one accord and another. A piece of tape an inch or two one way or another, or a plastic unbellical sleeve accidentally folded slightly in the wrong direction can easily result in some ultra-annoying crackles, creaks and rattles. I hope that they have changed how they are designing the ways that panels and wire harnesses are fixed to the car, but I highly doubt it. The drawbacks of corporate penny pinching.
