Hi All...Just took delivery of a new '08 EX-L Sedan, 4cyl, manual, wing spoiler. Actually, we left it at the dealer to allow the undercoating to "cure" in heated garage overnight...it is cold here in Minnesota. Will pick up on the way to a client in the AM.
This vehicle is replacing my wife's 1998 S70 T-5 Volvo turbo...which was our fifth Volvo since 1980. I am on my third Toyota Land Cruiser...a 2004...which I do really enjoy.
After taking delivery I am further convinced that the EX-L versions of the Accord are tremendous values...and have interior fit, finish, quality and features of much more expensive cars.
We (wife and I) are actually excited about this new car...and are glad we chose it over BMW 328xi, Mercedes 280 (I think that was the number), any Volvo, Camry SE, Altima, Maxima...and maybe a couple of others.
It seems to be a great combination of economy, quality and luxury...and WE do appreciate the slightly larger 2008 version.
My guess is that Honda is going to sell the 2008 Accords in large numbers.
Any others think the '08s are moving Honda a step "upmarket" in there sales direction?
I am anxious to pick it up and put some miles on it...Thanks for Input...Tom R
