Nope not carfax, OE's have a detailed history of the visits a vehicle has made to the dealer for a repair.They have the customer concern and an associated code then the technician adds his/her analysis of the situation and also applies a code and, any subsequent repair will be documented along with the casual part (part that was the cause of the defect) that was changed and any incidental parts (parts that were damaged as a result fo the initial component failure) that were changed.
