I purchased a 06 LX 5-speed back in Oct of 05. I thought I woukd drive it and turn it over to my son in 3 years. I had issues driving the 5-speed in city traffic. My foot never left the clutch. Anyway, I went back to my dealer after 7 months and was looking to trade out to a auto Civic. At that time the 06 Accord was out. Because of the Accord discounting I was able to get a 06 LX auto for $1,600 more than auto Civic. After driving both cars the Accord (IMHO) felt like a totally different car. More power/comfort/quieter. I like the Civic but for the money the Accord was a better buy. I still plan on turning this car over to my son in 3 years and get another replacement Accord for me.
