I made this point a couple of months ago. Hadn't seen this brought up again (I'll search to make sure). The example I gave was in regards to hard rain storms I RECENTLY drove in, and noticed the LED tails of a car before that of a model vehicle without. With the OEM design of LED tails, they were much more visible in that condition than the incandescent tails of the other car. Which setup would give me a better chance of seeing so I could manuever around someone who MAY HAVE jammed brakes in that condition. Odds are better seeing the LED tails than incandescent.
Though it may NOT be a decision maker, that's one option I would PREFER to have since I have 3 small kids (13 months, 3 yrs, & 11yrs) that I try my BEST to keep safe, no matter how SLIM the odds are.
