Benji repeated nothing that you said. Like he said, and what common sense (or even english) SHOULD tell you, is that rating at the CRANK, rating at the HUBS, AND rating at the WHEELS are all different things. A rating of approx 240hp at the wheels translates into about a 10% power loss from the crank down through the wheels if you go by what honda rated the engine at (so they probably underrated it by a couple hp). A rating of 268 at the hubs means that nothing between the hubs and the crank caused a loss of power and that they somehow figured out a way to defy the laws of physics. Sounds probable, right?
So basically, again, it's entirely possible that honda underrated the new J35, but those two dynos (the one that got 268hp at the hubs, and the one that got 240 at the wheels) simply do not support one another's findings. Also, the probability that honda underrated the engine by that much is pretty much nill. Sorry to say, but your car makes about what honda rated it at the crank. Using crappy math and tunnel vision to ignore that fact only makes you look silly. Though, I suppose you could take your delusion one step further and call your fwd accord a sports car and talk about how it eats evos for breakfast or something equally stupid.
If you want a car that makes more power then try buying one instead of pretending that your accord makes more power than it does.
