-Toyota's almighty Camry has fallen unfavorably to a Nissan, a Ford and a Chevy. Hyundai's not far behind. Taken from several media comparison sources, including Edmunds' Insideline, Car and Driver, and Motor Trend.-Lancer Evolution is toppling vehicles 3 or 4 times it's price, when seven years ago Mitsubishi's own people didn't even know what an Evo was ("what is a Lancer?, asked a VP when Kyle Bazemore, former Manager of Product Planning asked her if he could bring in an Evo IV for marketing. This was several years ago, taken from the Winter 2008 issue of "0-60 Magazine").-220 hp or more front wheel drive sport compact vehicles are being offered from the factory for enthusiast consumption--Dodge, Chevy, Mazda and Nissan (if you count the last gen. Altima SE-R), all have one--two in the case of Chevy with 3 more bow-tie models due this fall. If you count outside of the US market, you can add Ford, Opel and Toyota at the very least, to the list.-Hyundai is about to launch a 375bhp sedan that will sticker for nearly $40,000 AND is raising brand awareness to the point they could actually sell it.Times are a-changin'...
