I by no means am a Honda/Acura expert or historian...so correct me if I'm wrong or please inform me....Where else outside the US and North America is 'Acura' sold under that name... and not as luxury Honda models? Or is that only a Japan and Europe thing to not sell Acuras?I think Acura was intro'd to Mexico in 2004, but I could be wrong on that as well.In 2002, I know in Hong Kong and in China, Acura's were visible when I was over there on a trip. They caused me to do a double take a few times. I could see where its confusing and leads to the lack of brand name recognition for Acura with a lack of distinction globally between Honda and Acura models....I'm a firm believer when you're introducing something to someone to K.I.S.S. (Keep It Short & Sweet) or the common and still relevant interpretation, (Keep It Simple Stupid).
