Are you still running the stock Michelens? I bet your steering will feel better with some better tires. I plan on running some yokohama avid v4's next on mine. I replaced some Nitto's on my civic with those tires and the difference was night and day. I always top off my fuel tank. There isn't really any way to get accurate gas milage without doing that. I think the best practice would be to top off only when you are going to be doing long trips, when you are going to use the gas rather quickly. Might start doing that with the accord. BTW, I always top off the Civic ( 1995 DX 5-speed, 180,000 miles) my last trip was 425 miles and I got 46 mpg! No hypermilling, just driving a little over the speed limit.
