Really? That's odd. Most of the time they just stop pumping at the first click, when I could easily get another two or three gallons in, sometimes more. If I'm paying with cash, they might get it up to the next dollar, but that's all I've ever seen them do. I get most of my gas in Jersey City, but I've seen similar actions out in the burbs, too. I'm not doubting you; all I can say is that I've never seen them come anywhere near even filling up a tank.PS I've been here eight years, and I'm still not sure if I'm supposed to tip those guys.
