We've just posted the latest results of TrueDelta's Vehicle Reliability Survey. Thanks to the help of this forum, we can report full results, with no asterisks, for all recent model years of the Accord. we've even posted a result for the 2008, discussed in that forum.
For the 2003HondaAccord, we have an average of 7.1 months of data on 27 cars. The stat of 57 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.6 per vehicle) is better than average for a 2003 model.
For the 2004 HondaAccord, we have an average of 6.2 months of data on 36 cars. The stat of 32 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.3 per vehicle) is much better than average for a 2004 model.
For the 2005 HondaAccord, we have an average of 7.0 months of data on 26 cars. The stat of 13 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.1 per vehicle) is much better than average for a 2005 model.
For the 2006 HondaAccord, we have an average of 8.7 months of data on 40 cars. The stat of 31 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.3 per vehicle) is better than average for a 2006 model.
For the 2007 HondaAccord, I have an average of 5.2 months of data on 38 cars. The stat of 12 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.1 per vehicle) is much better than average for a 2007 model.
Note that the repair rates for the first year and the refresh are higher than for the other years, but none are high enough to be a concern.
Everyone who has been helping out with this research, thanks, it literally wouldn't be possible without you. Those who aren't yet helping out, please consider doing so.
Also, the HondaAccord recently became the first model with over 700 owners enrolled in the panel. How soon will we reach 1,000? Additional participants are always helpful.
