I have a 2008 Accord Coupe with the 3.6L V6 engine. Recently the transmission fluid cooler in the radiator leaked, and got coolant mixed with the transmission fluid. The radiator was replaced, new coolant. The transmission was flushed a couple of times to get as much coolant-contaminated liquid out as possible.
Everything has been operating well since this work. However, I have noticed a vibration sometimes when the transmission shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear.
I am trying to locate a mechanic/garage in the northern Virginia area who is knowledgeable/experienced with transmission replacements, to get his opinion as well as an estimate for replacement. (The estimate from the local dealer seems pretty outrageous.)
