My check engine light was flashing, and the engine was shuddering, however the car does continue to start up normally, and does not stall.  There is also something leaking, I think it is power steering fluid, it is the correct color for power steering fluid, although oil is the same color , but it doesn't look thick enough to be oil.  I have no idea if this fluid leak has anything to do with my problem.  I have a 2000 Honda Accord.
