I've tried all variations I could think of. Key out, blade under chin. Key in, rotating mechanism under chin. Key in, back of fob under chin. None of these methods worked as well as when I used the accord key. However, the range itself seems to be a bit better without having to use the chin method so I haven't been repeatedly attempting the under-chin-method to see if the results vary.
