Actually with the key blade folded in its a shorter length than the current accord key. With the keys in my pocket, before the conversion, the accord key was the only one that would really stab me in the leg, now I dont have that problem. This wasn't why I did the conversion tho. I just really like the look of the key itself and the flip part is a cool feature to have, just one of the personal preferences for me. I haven't had any problem with the button getting pressed while the keys are in my pocket and the key flipping out either.
This does bring up another question that I've been meaning to ask people who have done this mod. Has anyone else noticed an increase or decrease in the range of your keyfob for locking/unlocking the doors? It seems most times, mine works at a little more distance now, or maybe its because of a newer battery in the fob. I also have noticed that the key under chin method doesnt work as well on the TL key as it did on the accord key, or maybe I'm just not putting it under my chin he correct way.
