That is because you have the key "linked" for the memory seat option! All you need to do to get it working correctly is to stand next to the car and hold down the "lock" and "Unlock" button at the same time for about 2-3 seconds and you will see the light blink once, then it will blink 2 times fast! Then your unlock button will work properly! I had this same thing happen on mine today!
BTW, are you saying that you can start the car with the remote, or are you just refering to starting it with the key?
