woke up went to capitol honda. 1st part department then bounce to service then back to part department.
the part guy quote $60 to cut and $60 to program. then i told him other places have charge lil as $10-15. so he agree to cut it. and suprisingly he offer to cut it for free. he start telling me how his friend have it for a ridgeliner.
cut it in 15 mins. tested work for everything. felt good so i tip him $10
now off to acura of stevens creek. no good, claim can't program it have to use honda's equipment.
off to honda of stevens creek. no go either. quoted $90 for program. have to bring the car into the shop and have a technictian do it.
so went home read up on some threads and hacksaw my valet key and pluck out the chip and place it in the acura key. program the lock/unlock now everything is great. here are pix
