Almost ready to buy: Few questions

OK, let me start by saying I love the 2008 accord. For months I have been on these boards and I have finally decided I will trade in my 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring for a Sedan or small CUV due to my son going off to college and the car being way to big for my needs.
The only thing keeping me from purchasing the Accord is my wife who has been talking about getting the Toyota Camry. She keeps telling me that on edmunds everyone is complaining about low milage (i-4 and v6), road noise, wind noise, cheap plastics, and lack of features (rear vents/split rear seat/reading lights/Push Start) on the Accord. I read some reviews and she is right, but still I don't trust edmunds. Also could anyone recommend anymore sedans in my price range $26k-32k$ will not consider Nissan). The thing i'm gonna miss about the Ody is all the "acura" features it has like MID, Memory Seats, adjustable pedals, DVD display, etc.

So basically its between the v6 Camry or 190HP i-4/V6 Accord for now.

Honda Accord Benefits:
-Nicer styling
-More Driver oriented ride
-nicer interior (designed better)
-VCM ( i've had it on my Ody and I love it) and ANC

Negatives:
-Road Noise (Can anyone that has driven an Odyssey Touring tell me if the noise in the new Accord is less than the Odyssey? I really want a quieter car even though it is very quiet on smooth pavement)
-Lack of Rear passenger comforts
-No Shiftronic (i think this is a gimmick and Honda will never offer it anyways since this is not an Acura)

Toyota Camry Benefits:
-Quieter Ride/Smoother
-More features especially for rear passengers. (push start...etc)
-More fake wood (have to admit I like it)
-XLE Reclining Rear Seats

Toyota Negatives:
-floaty ride
-v6 problems?
-lack of 2 way heated seats
-no folding rear seats in XLE due to reclineing seat
-16" rims is the largest on XLE!
-Dash design and steering wheel design
-No Auto Up Pass. Window

My wife keeps pushing on the Camry I want the Accord. What can I say to convince her?biggrin.gif
