Call them and get whatever they say in writing. I searched the internet and I found a few hits on what I said. I know what my dealership said when I declined, they told me to make sure I came in before the 6k miles, 6 months if I changed my mind. Also both College Park Honda in Maryland, and Bernardi Honda told me the same. They said I could get coverage after that but I would have a deductible, and it would be more expensive. The point of this post. Get EVERYTHING in writing if there are questions that way someone can be held accountable (Although even then it can be difficult.)My book in the front says in writing Deductible 0.00, contract expiration date, contract expiration mileage, plus my Vin and make model and year. The book states everything that is covered so I am more or less just posting my own experience and Point of Contact.
