Looks like the two new Generals replaced the Chrysler 300 and Infinity G35 from last year's list. The other eight are all hold overs.
That noted, I still think this list is about the silliest exercise. It's advertising "bought and paid for" fluff that pretends to be journalism. After all the years of crap that Chevrolet pawned off on the gullible public, any real journalist would look at the Malibu, declare that it looks nice, and decide to give it about two or three years to prove that it was done right before bestowing such honors upon it. But Chevy is buying tons of advertising to flaunt the Malibu, and they expect to be treated nicely.
Back to the Chrysler 300. Remember it? It was the hottest thing on wheels when it came out several years ago. Those very same "journalists" were declaring it the proof that Chrysler was back, big time! Car of the Year! 10Best! Today, they have poor resale value, and the dealer lots (and rental stalls) are full of them. Chrysler is on life support. It was a fad car, with no staying power.
One of the great things about Honda is they don't do fads.
