I guess I don't make much sense when I'm frusterated But I was always very unfond of the way Honda designed my trunk. Preferably, I want those hydraulic lifters that take up no space. I mean, a Buick rentacar from five years ago had that. I guess my logic in regards to the protruding lifters is that at least if they are covered I know nothing will get smashed, something I've had happen to my things in the trunk, but I suppose I could blame myself for shutting the trunk hard without thinking of smushing stuff.
