good or better than the smaller 7th gen

I agree that some of it is (mis)perception, but I've also found I can more easily park my wife's 2006 Odyssey than my '06 EX-L V6, and that is no doubt due to the significantly smaller turning radius of the Ody (36') as compared to my AV6 (39.5' or so, according to the dealer brochure). Note that the 8th gen turning radii have been reduced (compared to 7th gen), so their perceived parking lot maneuverability should be as good or better than the smaller 7th gen. Note also that one pays a penalty for fatter tires, as evidenced by the slightly larger turning radius of the 6Mt Coupe, no doubt driven by its bigger (235/45-18 I think) tires as compared to the 225's of the 8th gen 5AT V6's. It's amazing how 10mm in tire width can drive a 1' or more increase in turning radius, but that's apparently what happens when you have to limit turning angle to prevent rubbing of the wider tire.
