Hopefully to keep the Noise and Vibration out....Great pictures!I will also say that the IP shots, other then the outside looking in on the "welcome" don't do the IP justice. The 7th generation put the speedometer dead center which was nice. But the return to the Speedometer and Tachometer with equal presence is classic Honda!! Dealer markups are rediculous on a car that is already in great supply. Markups were for short supply vehicles that were in demand like the 2nd gen Odyssey, the S2000, the Miata ..... The accord will sell for MSRP for a few months, but even then, I don't people lining up out to door to buy one (or anything) right now. Hopefully, my December the buzz will have settled and the year-end sales goals will be looming .... by then, I may have even settled on a color.
