tsx doesn't reach it's max hp till 100rpm

The current tsx doesn't reach it's max hp till 100rpm before redline. This does not give you a ton of room to play around w/ before you have to shift or where the engine is at peak output. I like shifting, and the tsx is a fun drive, but to me it feels like I'm pedaling the car at times. Even w/ the V6 accord, which has a lot more torque, you have to really know how to shift or else get used to falling out of the sweet spot frequently when you don't intend to. I suppose this wouldn't be a huge issue if you have an automatic, but if I were looking for a sporty car I would never want to own a tsx w/o the manual transmission factor in there to offset the lesser power. Neither of these cars are sports cars really, but both are sporty in their own way. The TSX's strong point is more handling than power, where the accord v6 has a significant power edge (on regular gas if you choose, and while getting similar if not better gas mileage in some cases). I decided that aftermarket it would be easier to make my car handle better than be more powerful.
