After owning my car for almost three months I concur with this statement wholeheartedly. There is no way in hell this car only has 244 HP. I'm wondering if anyone has dyno tested a 2006 or 2007 6-speed Accord? I would bet my substantial life savings on the fact this car is under rated. Crank horsepower on this thing is easily under-rated by probably 15 horsepower at a minimum. Some of the cars I easily walk away from (the few who have challenged me that is) should not be happening with 244 HP and 211 TQ in a 3,300 lbs vehicle.To say this 3.0L is a gem of an engine is an understatement. Completely smooth and quiet when driven sanely, but a beast when you get on the throttle with the most beautiful exhaust note you'd want to hear at around 5K RPM's plus. Then to get an average of 25 MPG in a mix of city/hwy with a fairly heavy right foot while running on regular unleaded is too good to be true. The car rocks plain and simple.
