___Airborne emissions is exactly how you want to measure your carbon and/or eco footprint. This includes digging the ore out of the ground to shredding the car into pieces and recycling. In other words, dust to dust.
___The problem with climate change as I see it is that it is coming far too fast. What happens if the Corn Belt gets hit with the droughts of the far west? The world is instantly screwed and 2 years ago, farmers throughout much of downstate IL. were in this exact predicament. Climate change does indeed happen but it doesnt happen over just 100 years to a world with 6.5 billion people to support.
