When Climate change hits home as it is in Australia today, are you going to continue worrying only about your lot or wonder what you could have done to prevent the carnage happening down under? Sure there are a ton of other areas like Darfur where hundreds of thousands if not millions were/are killed and we dont blink an eye (I am guilty as charged) but to see us wreak havoc on our lifeboat makes absolutely no sense. The discussion about oil and our dependence on it will lead us to extinction through war is yet another reason to consider pulling back on our use of fossil fuels today rather then wait until tomorrow when it will be to late.
