clean drinking water

I just took the MBTI (Meyers Briggs..did I spell that right?)instrument recently, and I found that (ok I already knew it) with my personality I base most of my decisions on FACTS. Most of the science now is based on models that lack accuracy, so I base my decisions on what we know for certain. I'm more worried about things like my children being forced to wear burkas, living free under a good government, clean drinking water, food to eat, and a system like we have now that gives the most people possible a chance to succeed and thrive (like what I think we have now). Cars and fossil fuels do not mean extinction because those fuels will run out. It's more supportable to claim that our dependence on oil will lead us to extinction through war than through gradual climate change. In absence of some cataclysmic war, meteor strike, or supervolcano, we will use our God-given minds and ingenuity to adapt. We know global climate change is a fact. We know we need to stop clear-cutting the rainforests. We know we need to recycle and stop poisoning ourselves. We "think" that driving a hybrid is responsible, but in fact we've ignored the gross cost of manufacture and disposal of yet another vehicle on the planet(with more pollutants than the average new vehicle I might add), and consider this, if we prolong our use of oil through hybrid and other technologies, we will not be able to nuke the middle-east for that many more years. If you really want to stop global warming, we should nuke Iran or China now. The global winter could help us all. Ok, I got carried away, but I think I made my point.
