Greetings! 1st post here. Love the forums! Some random comments regarding this comparo. There is both an 06 Accord EX V6 AT w/ Navi sedan and an 05 SL Maxima (loaded with Navi, "Elite Pkg" which makes the rear have two bucket seats, etc.) in our garage. Mine is the Accord (my third one after an '01 EX V6 Coupe and an '04 EX V6 Coupe) and the Maxima belongs to my S.O. What do I think? The Maxima has a lot to love about it. I really like the overall looks of the car and the Elite pkg adds some very lux features to it, especially the rear seats. I dislike the faux suede trim that looks like a terri cloth towel, and some of the trim pieces feel a bit cheap. The S.O. got a great deal on it, so no complaints. Overall, my new Accord sedan (just got it, only 555 miles on it) is a *much* better car. I think that the engine in the Maxima has a bit more low end grunt, but mine is no slouch in the acceleration dept, and hasn't really broken in yet. Honda has done a much better job with interior details, fit and finish and there is no contest on which Navi system is better (Accord.). The Accord, especially the loaded one I drive is just as good, if not better than the Maxima. The Maxima has a spacious rear seat, but the Accord is comfortable in this department as well. The 06 feels bigger than the other Accord sedans I've been in. Overall, I'm very pleased with my choice and I think the S.O. is a tad jealous
