I really need help on this one, please: I recently replaced the stock rear speakers in my 2006 EX-V6 Accord with a pair of Boston Acoustics S95 by myself. Now, I want to replace the front doors' too. I'm going to have this process done by a local auto-audio mechanic. I can't make up my mind on whether I should go with a pair of B.A. SX60 that comes with a pair of tweeters for the dash, OR go with a pair of Alpine SPS-17C2 that doesn't have tweeters for the dash (but is attached to the woofer instead). Can somebody confirm the things I'm saying here and give me their opinions on these speakers so that I don't regret choosing one over the other?
I think the B.A's will give really crisp, clear highs, but lack the low booming bass (Sensitivity: 90 dB; Freq. Response: 55 - 20,000 Hz), while the Alpines may be way too crisp, deep, and metallically high, but will also have a more distinguished bass sound (Sensitivity: 92 dB; Freq. Response: 35 - 30,000 Hz).
Any opinions or facts will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
